It's still Sunday!

I wanted to make an update post this weekend, and with an hour left in my day here, I'm finally getting to sit down and write this stuff out. (Well, now there's only a half an hour as of posting this...)

It goes without saying that life has a way of... not just getting in the way (from what we'd like to do) but I'll phrase it in a nice way: 'life happens'. Yes, I think life happening is a good thing. Not just in the manner of a beating heart means that you're alive, but that everything around you can pretty easily throw you for a loop when you least expect it.

Perhaps it is life's way of keeping a person from getting too complacent, or comfortable in routine. Needless to say, for me it started out with a rather nasty one-two combination that sent me reeling. The first shot came from work... I know it's hard to explain for people that don't work in retail or have no idea how a Pharmacy operates, but doing over a thousand prescriptions in a week with just four people is -not fun-.

So I got a bit stressed out from the nonstop work. No big deal. But stress makes you more susceptible to getting sick, and sick I got. First cold wasn't too bad (I'm pretty sure I got it from my younger brother), but as I was getting over that and going back to work I got hit by number two, and that one was downright nasty. I was kept to bed rest for about 3 days, which you'd think would be a good opportunity for me to type. Sadly it was too hard to focus and because I was feeling so miserable I didn't really feel like doing anything. I pretty much listened to music and read a few stories here and there to pass the time, but otherwise I was sleeping/napping about 16 hours of the day.

Since I've been out they hired a 5th person, though, so that's good. Less stress on the days where it was just 2 people working.

Now I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. The Tobi/Obito canon bit seems to have been fleshed out so I'm comfortable skipping a lot of that and continuing with my plan. I don't think there will be an update this week, but there should be next week. I really want to just get this DONE so I can focus on other stuff.

Oh, and as an aside, for those space simulator gamers out there I discovered something about a week ago... Chris Roberts, the creator of Wing Commander, Privateer, etc... is back and making a new game called Star Citizen. It's on both a new website he made called Roberts Space Industries, as well as Kickstarter. If you're interested, check it out.
